So now that you are deep in the trenches of decluttering you are probably accumulating a lot of items that could be donated. There are reports that some charity shops are at capacity and are no longer taking donations, this is so great! So what can you do with your haul? Well I recommend making some calls before packing the car boot and heading to the local Op shop, just incase they are full. Clothes bins can also be overflowing so it's a good idea to do a drive by to check your local ones before taking your bags with you.
There are many Pay It Forward groups on Facebook that you can post free to good home items on. Your local daycare centres and playgroups may also be very grateful for some donations of toys and craft supplies.
Facebook market place and Gumtree are also good resources for posting things for sale or for free.
Although they might seem like a lot of work consider a garage sale! Get the family and even the neighbours involved and have a street garage sale! A great way to make a few dollars, have some fun and create some community spirit.
